EV buses, which do not emit CO2 when running, are useful as a measure against global warming. It would be desirable for EV buses to become more popular, but the short driving range of EV buses makes it difficult to transport them around the country for actual driving tests. So, if we know how much power will be consumed by the simulation, we can find out if it is possible to operate on that route. In this study, we used machine learning to create a model to predict the power consumption of EV buses. This allows us to estimate power consumption even in places where buses are not actually running.
