Development of Optical Wave Microphone Measurement System of Sound Pressure Calibration

A microphone used for sound detection generally vibrates a diaphragm with sound and converts it into electrical signal. However, it is necessary to bring the microphone detector closer to the sound source. Therefore, we use optical measurement method called a light wave microphone. In contrast, light wave microphone use laser light to detect sound and it is designed to generate weak diffracted light when light is phase modulated by sound waves. In this research, the ultimate goal is to make it possible to measure the sound field with a light wave microphone. A CT scan program that quantifies voltage values measured by a light wave microphone.
