抄録

This paper proposes a method to reduce the mutual coupling between two closely spaced transmitting antennas. A metasurface composed of periodic rectangular patches is placed in front of the transmitting antennas to reduce the coupling. It is shown that by appropriately designing the size and spacing of each rectangular patch, the mutual coupling between the antenna elements is significantly reduced while ensuring radiation to the receiving antenna.
