The Artemis program will soon enable long-term human habitation at lunar bases; however, such closed environments can impose psychological stress on astronauts. Performance of partner robots, proven effective in stress reduction on Earth and aboard the International Space Station, are therefore promising. In lunar low gravity, jumps and sliding motions may enable unique dance steps difficult on Earth. This study reports creation of dance steps based on the famous Moonwalk dance performance generated using a 2-D hardware simulator.
