抄録

The author studied the corrosion tendensies of Cu base alloys in petroleum refining process by plant test.
The results obtained are as follows:
(1) Cu-Ni alloys are sensitive against the corrosion under the temperature below 200°C and agitating condition.
(2) Cu-Ni alloys suffer corrosion by H2S and other S compounds.
(3) Aluminum bronzes are not stable on the point of corrosion against alkaline compounds.
(4) Admiralty alloys are most stable for petroleum refining process.
