Applying a polarographic method, we have obtained the bath voltage-ampere curves of various stainless steels in boiling sulfuric acid-copper sulfate solution. As the result it became possible to estimate rapidly a tendency of intergranular corrosion in relation to the type of stainless steel and the change of its heat-treating condition.
