Abstract

There are two hypotheses about the ability of observation : continuous theory and stepping theory. For the examination of these two hypotheses, in this investigation the observation of maple leaf was carried out by elementary school students from first grade till sixth grade and these results were analyzed. These results show the observation ability developing continuously on the stage of elementary school students, while they show few developments between fifth grade and six one in the case of observation by sight.
