Since the pioneering demonstration of a REBCO (Rare-Earth Barium Copper Oxide) superconducting joint by Korea University in 2013, the technology has evolved significantly to facilitate persistent current mode operation in NMR magnets. This paper presents an advanced joint fabrication technique using the fluorine-free Metal-Organic Decomposition (MOD) process. The proposed method effectively addresses previous technical limitations specifically by reducing processing duration and enhancing mechanical strength while demonstrating high reproducibility, which is essential for practical applications.
