Wind and React法によるNb₃Snコイル

抄録

A Nb₃Sn solenoid coil was constructed by the wind and react procedure and the coil performance was tested. The conductor was a copper matrix Nb₃Sn composite developed by Toshiba-SWCC and the size of the coil was 42mm inner diameter, 137mm outer diameter and 198mm length. A maximum field of 10.65T has been attained in a backing field of 6T provided by a Nb-Ti solenoid.
