Effect of Oral Rinse and Health Stuffs on Anti Lipid Peroxidation

Abstract

Abstract : It has been reported that active oxygen species are attack to living body. And many diseases are caused via active oxygen species. Recently, many health sttuffs and oral rinse are on the market for protection from active oxygen species effect. The aim of this study was clarified for effects of health stuffs and oral rinse on inhibition of Cu²⁺/H₂O₂-dependent lipid peroxidation by used human erythrocyte membranes. Oral rinse and other health stuffs inhibited Cu²⁺/H₂O₂-dependent lipid peroxidation in a concentration dependent manner.
