A floristic study of attached diatoms of Suzuka-gawa, Mie prefecture, was carried out. A total 128 taxa, belonging to 26 genera were found from this area. Dominant taxa in the area were Nitzschia frustulum, Melosira varians, Cymbella turgidula and Cymbella tumida.
