2-way-cartridge valves are being widely used throughout Europe. They have a lot of advantages, for instance, they are simple and compact in construction, have a quick response and so on. A great difference exists, however, between valve opening and closing times, since the opening and closing mechanisms differ from each other. An investigation was carried out on the switching characteristics of this type of valve. In a previous study (1st. Report), an investigation was performed on the influence of design parameters of the valve to equalize the opening and closing times. The present paper (2nd. Report) deals with the influence of the pilot line which is also an important parameter when we design a system including logic valves. As a result of the study, it became possible to design and improve the pilot line, which can equalize the valve's opening and closing times.
