In Bangladesh increasing forest land, the government introduced different social forestry practices like- agro-forestry, homestead forestry, and roadside tree plantation etc.  Peoples are not more conscious to select the appropriate species for tree plantation like-fast growing, earn more money, high wood value, environment friendly and multi purpose tree species etc. Mainly planted species are- Eucalyptus sp, Acacia sp, Dalbergia sissoo, Azadirachta  Indica , Albizia saman etc. which is foreign species and woody. No fruit, fodder and medicinal trees species in plantation program like-Mangifera indica, Artocarpus  heterophyllus, Tamarindus  indica, Albizia  procera etc. Considering those issues, this presentation reviews the species composition trend and problem of roadside tree plantation program of Bangladesh.
