This study aimed at estimating aboveground biomass (AGB) and plant species diversity of Damar agroforest. The result indicated that AGB potential estimated in tree plots was 330.99 ton/ha. In addition, shrub plot and herb were estimated to be only 81.53 ton/ha and 4.44 ton/ha respectively. The total amount of AGB was 416.96 ton/ha while 74 tree species belonging to 41 families were identified in the 20 study plots. The identified dominant tree species were Shorea javanica, Lansium domesticum, and Durio zibethinus. The shrub layer was estimated as 3.38 which were in a high diversity category of the SW index; while, the tree layer had moderate diversity at the index level of 1.88. Therefore, the SW Index was not completely affected by the total amount of AGB; however, the diameter of tree is more strongly contributing to biomass estimation.
