The evaluation method of bleaching effect by Acid Orange R (CI. 15575) solution which was read in previous report, was applied to potassium dichloroisocyanurate and sodium hypochloride solution. Bleaching effects of both bleaching agents at different concentration and temperature were compared, and a proposition to the mechanism of bleaching by dichloroisocyanurate is presented.
