Abstract
Parametric analyses of single piles, pile groups and piled rafts subjected to ground movements induced by tunnelling are conducted using the computer program PRAB. In the analysis, the solutions by Loganathan & Poulos(1998) were used to estimate the tunnelling-induced ground movements first. It was found that in the case of pile with small slenderness ratio, the difference between the responses of piles in the pile group and piles in the piled raft becomes larger, compared with the case of pile with large slenderness ratio in which the responses of piles in both types of foundation are almost the same.
