Abstract
The complaints of a 64 years old woman were tumor of the right side of the neck, swelling of the right tonsil, and pain in swallowing. By histo-pathologic examination the tumor was diagnosed as lymphepitheliar cancer.
It seemed difficult to perform peroral removal of this tumor extending into the surrounding tissues over the capsule. However, the tumor was removed successfully under the ligation of the external carotic artery.
The X-ray therapy has been applied after the operation and no symptom or sign of re-lapse has been observed in two years and a half to date. It seems that a complete healing has been effected.
