Abstract
A girl, aged 10, often vomited from an unknown cause. Her case was diagnosed in the authors' clinic as functional spontaneous esophagus dilatation by the X-ray examination, esophagoscopy and the examination of the autonomous nerves function.
The treatment by means of atropin sulfate and dilatation of cardia with the bougie of whalebone improved her case.
