Lidocaine(Xylocaine)静注のウサギOKNに及ぼす影響

The effects of lidocaine (xylocaine) by intravenous injection were observed on optokinetic nystagmus (OKN) in the rabbit. The materials consisted of 21 healthy raddits weighting 2.6-3.4kg. The 2% solution of lidocaine was administered in doses of 2.0mg/kg (in 6 rabbits), 4.0mg/kg (in 6 rabbits), 6.0mg/kg (in 4 rabbits). For control group (5 rabbits) the volume of physiological saline solution 0.2ml was also intravenously injected. The record of OKN by means of ENG was done before injection and as of 10', 30', 60', 90', 120' after injection. The differece of values in OKN was statistically calculated between control group and lidocaine groups, and also between three different administed amount of lidocaine.
No effect of lidocaine was recognized in the frequency of OKN. On the other hand, the amplitude of OKN in lidocaine groups was slightly decreased between 10'-90' in course of time after injection, however, there was no differece between each values of lidocaine administration. The results suggested that lidocaine acted in cerebral region and the inhibitory effect on OKN consequently occured.
