Abstract
Adenoid cystic carcinoma originating from the trachea of a 67 years old female who complained of dyspnoe and stridor was reported.
The tumor was removed in en bloc without any difficulties by transtracheal approach.
A review of literature revealed 23 cases of this tumor reported for the past 28 years in Japan.
Statistical review of clinical feature of this tracheal neoplasm was discussed.
