慢性中耳炎耳漏およびその他感染症の検出菌と薬剤感受性

Two hundred sixty two patients who visited the department of Otorhinolaryngology, Kumamoto University Hospital from 1979 to 1981 underwent bacteriological examination and sensititivity to antibiotics. The results were as follows: 1) In the bacteriological examination, many kinds of pathogenic micro-organisms were isolated, consisting of 32 species with 277 strains. The most frequently detected strains were Staph. aureus (33.6 %), Ps. aeruginosa (19.5%) and Genus Proteus bacilli (18.4%). 2) Almost all of Staph. aureus showed good sensitivity to CBPC, SBPC, Cephalosporins and GM using three-disc method. Genus Proteus bacilli was highly sensitive to CBPC, SBPC, GM and NA, but was resistant to PCG, ABPC, Cepholosporins, KM and TC. Ps. aeruginosa had a considerable sensitivity to CBPC, SBPC, GM, TC, CL, and PB. Anaerobic bacteria showed high sensitivity to Penicillins, Cephalosporins, TC, CP and EM, but showed a low sensitivity to KM, GM, CL and PB. We conclude that the first choice of antibiotic is CBPC or SBPC, and the conbined use of them with GM may be more effective for infection.
