Eighty-seven patients complaining of abnormal sensation in the throat were treated with Methycobal® for 4 weeks 1500μg/day, single dose. The treatment was successful in 31 patients (35.6%). The drug was more effective for the patients of CMI region III and IV. We bypothesiged that Methycobal® acted on the disordered peripheral nerves surrounding the throat.
