Two cases of thyroid carcinoma infiltrating the tracheal lumen were reported. The first case, a 62 years old female, underwent right hemithyroidectomy and left subtotal thyroidectomy followed by tracheal resection from 2 nd. to 6 th. tracheal rings and tracheal reconstruction after performing laryngeal release. Histological examination revealed follicular carcinoma. She was discharged and showed no recurrence 18 months postoperatively. The second case, a 54 years old female, was operated on left hemithyroidectomy and right subtotal thyroidectomy combined with total laryngectomy due to an invasion to cricoid cartilge. Histological examination showed papillary carcinoma. She was discharged without any complication and has been doing well 14 months postoperatively.
