A simple prosthetic palate made of dental materials was used to keep the functions swallowing and speech and to keep the wound clear in three radical maxillectomy and orbital removal patients. In spite of the poor prognosis of the disease, this method has merit because patients were able to communicate with family members when they were temporarily discharged from hospital.
