Abstract
The effect of ibudilast was evaluated in 15 patients with vertigo secondary to cerebral blood-flow disturbance. The patients were given a 10 mg capsule of ibudilast 3 times daily for 12 weeks. The ratio of overall improvement of vertigo was 67%. The vestibular screening test was improved in 40% of the patients. No side effects were reported following administration of ibudilast. These results indicate that ibudilast is useful and safe for the treatment of vertigo secondary to cerebral blood-flow disturbance.
