Ultrasonic Diagnosis in Neck Masses

Abstract

Ultrasound has been utilized in our department for diagnostic purposes for the past ten years. Four patients are presented to illustrate tho usefulln. ess of ultrasound in assessing masses in the neck. Ultrasound is capable of differentiating cystic from solid lesions but it does not permit differentiation between malignant and benign masses.
