A 14-year-old boy, who complained of a painful swelling of the palatine tonsil on the right side, was diagnosed as having malignant lymphoma. Biopsy of the tonsil was performed. The histological examination showed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of diffuse, medium sized cell type and the clinical stage was classified as II. Local irradiation and chemotherapy for malignant lymphoma were performed. The tumor was initially responded to treatment, and the patient showed continuous remission until he died after about 4 months of treatment. The clinical course and schedule of chemotheraphy of this patient are reported.
