Acrylic ethyl ester was synthetized by the reaction of Nickel cosbonyl carbonyl and Acetylene in the presence of hydrochloric acid and ethyl alcohol.The yield of ethylester was 70% based on Nickel carbonyl.Acrylic ester was produced as byproduct.Reaction mechanism, separation and analysis of reaction products are reported.
