抄録
The revision of JIS M 8802 1954, “Sampling and Analysis of Coal and Coke has been asked the Fuel society of Japan and the Society is now making theoriginal draught for revision from the studies of the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers and the draught proposal of ISO”.
The results of this paper have been obtained from the Co-operative experiments on each following item, and the course and method of each experiment have been discus-sed: (1) sampling and analysis of coals, (2) sampling, (3) reduction, (4) total moisture, (5) moisture in constant humidity, air-dried moisture and occuluded moisture, .(6) ash, (7) volatile matter, (8) calorific value, (9) determination of carbon and hydrogen, (10) determination of nitrogen, (11) nitrogen in coke, (12) total sulphur (co-mbustion volumetric method), (13) determination of oxygen, (14) non-combustible sul-phur, and (15) determination method of phosphor in coals and cokes.
The course of the original draught for revision has been described in this paper.
