Life cycle inventory analysis of wood pellet production were implemented, and the primary energy demand and CO2 emissions were obtained. From the analysis, we found that energy demand and CO2 emissions associated with the power demands from pellet manufacturing phase are the highest impact in the production system, which account for 75% in summer and 74% in winter.
