In conventional Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS), Fe-based catalyst is used for higher olefin selectivity. We are trying to use Fe-based catalyst for higher paraffin selectivity in FTS in order to achieve lower cost and earlier practical realization of Biomass-to-Liquids (BTL) process. In the study, the effect of FTS condition on CO conversion and hydrocarbon selectivity was experimentally examined. In addition, the effect of promotor supported with Fe-based catalyst on FTS was also examined.
