Today, woody biomass is attracting attention as a means of decarbonization. However, there is concern that clinker deposition produced by woody biomass combustion can significantly affect the thermal efficiency of biomass boilers. In this study, we focused on biomass fly ash and conducted an experiment to observe the mechanism of clinker deposition on a heat exchanger, using a cooling tube that imitates a heat exchanger, an observation window to observe the tube, and a mullite tube as a furnace.
