In general, the moisture of various biomass wastes are high. Therefore, to incinerate, a lot of supplementary fuels are needed. Moreover, it is said that the cost to dry waste with high such moisture will far exceed the profit obtained by collecting the combustion heat. Recently, the minute crushing technology of the wood raw material is paid to attention as one of the preprocessing technologies in the biomass ethanol manufacturing. However, it is a stage in which an efficient crushing technology is groped so that the energy for a minute crushing may hang hugely. Then, there is a method of drying the impact type to give the impact power and the centrifugal force to the thing processe as a technology that improves the energy efficiency and an efficient, rough crushing technology when the biomass with high moisture is dried and to do the crushing dryness. This paper describes on the result of examining investigating the crushing characteristic of the raw material of the wood and the include high water biosolids, the moisture removal characteristics, and the energy characteristics with an impact type crushing dryness device.
