The fluorescent sun Iamp is one kind of fluorescent lamp of which the coating material is made of ultraviolet emitting phospher and the tube is made of ultraviolet transmiting glass.
In this report the energy distribution in the ultraviolet region, the erythemal energy output and the method of their measurement on the fluorescent sun lamp made by Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co aredescribed.
The erythemal and germicidal effect and some applications of the lamp are also described.
