Brown Coal Liquefaction (BCL) process is a two stage Liquefaction process. In this process, bottom fractions produced in the primary hydrogenation (PH) and the secondary hydrogenation are recycled as a part of solvent to the PH section in order to increase oil yield and to improve the reaction conditions. This paper discusses the effects of reaction temperture and pressure on the yields under the bottom recycling conditions.
