In our previous study, the gasification reactivities and characteristics of char prepared at various pyrolysis temperatures were investigated and it was found that catalytic effect induced by highly dispersed inherent iron in the sub-bituminous coal had much impact on the char gasification reactivity. We have been proposed the extended random pore model, which is composed of the sum of non-catalytic reaction model and catalytic reaction model. In this study, the catalytic effects of inherent iron were estimated by the application of the extended random pore model to TG profiles of CO2 gasification and the correlation between the results of kinetics and analysis was investigated.
