To increase sludge utilization for energy fuel, we proposed a carbonization process of sludge and coal. So, we conduced the co-carbonization experiment to clarify the material balance during co-carbonization of sludge and coal. And to clarify the reactivity of co-char produced from sludge and coal. In carbonization experiment, we used dried sludge and coal as sample, and coal ratio was changed. And thermogravimetric analysis was conducted to reveal gasification behavior of co-char. As a result, co-char yield increased, and tar yield and gas yield decreased by adding coal amount more. In co-char reactivity analysis, gasification rate of co-char was slow down when coal ratio increased.
