Dehydrocyclization-cracking of soybean oil, which generates aromatics and hydrogen simulataneously, was developed by preparing multi-functional zeolite-oxide composite-supprted PtNiMo catalysts, which have properties of acid by zeolite, hydrogenation and dehydrogenation by transition metals, and mesopore by matrix oxide. Using Pt/NM/β(37)60Al gas selectivity was inhibited to 19% and showed 65% of the highest selectivity for liquid fuels of C5-C18 (gasoline selectivity 51%) under the condition, 0.5MPa and 580°C. Pt/NM/β(37)60Al showed 12% of the highest selectivity for CO, CO2 under the condition, 1.0MPa and 580°C. Pt/NM/β(11)60Al showed 16% of aromatics yields under the condition, 1.0MPa and 580°C. The use of TiO2 decreased the gasoline fraction while the use of ZrO2 decreased the conversion. The use of KL-zeolite also decreased the gasoline fraction.
