Abstract

Removal of dusts on the boiler heating surface is effective to improve the efficiency of power generation in municipal solid incineration plants. A steam injection type sootblower has often been used in order to remove dusts on boiler tubes, however, it uses steam for power generation and causes erosion on tube surface by steam and drain. Additionally, it is difficult to streamline the placement of sootblowers for radiation chamber. To solve these problems, we developed new boiler cleaning systems. As results, these systems removed dusts well on the radiation and convection chamber.
