There are few literature values of gas hydrate densities, although knowledge of reliable density values coupled with composition is one of the most fundamental physical properties. In this study, the densities of gas hydrates were determined by structure analysis using a diffraction technique. The crystal structures and hydration numbers of these gas hydrates were solved by the Rietveld refinements. The densities of other gas hydrates and density deviation caused by differences in cage occupancy are also discussed.
