On Results of Inquiry about Development Schemes of Resort Areas by Prefectural Governments

Abstract

This record shows the results of the nation-wide investigation into the present real situation of Resort Development Schemes by prefectural governments, which have been accelerated so much after so-called Resort Law enforcement in June 1987.
The governments are so eager to manage those schemes in order to make their regions so promoted. But the environmental assessments in the schemes are not enough. Conservation of natural/historical environments will be a big problem in further steps.
