The purpose of the present paper is to describe a mathematical configuration model that could be used by any analysis of body movements in materials handling. This approach can be used : 1. To decide some important factors which are caused by spatial configuration in materials handling. 2. To evaluate a harmonic analysis of some factors that are caused by the body movements. 3. To develop a computerized mathematical model which determines the configuration of a worker in materials handling. Development, validation, and application of the model are discussed.
