A New Concept of DSS and Its Implementation : actDSS and Task Ware System

Abstract

In this pater, we discuss a new framework for decision support systems. The system developed is called "actDSS" and the framework is basically based on the soft systems methodology. In actDSS, a decision maker can use it as his consultant so as to clarify the nature of a problem through a logical model provided by the system or by debating with it. The system is based on the concept of task ware systems. In task ware system, it is easy to clarify the logical structure of problems for it is basically written in prolog.
