パソコンによる船舶保全データの収集と解析

This paper mainly deals with the field data gathering and their analysis by using a personal computer (PC) equipped in merchant ships. In general, the field data have been collected by the crew, and then they have been investigated by some section of data analysis on shore. In such techniques, there have been often happened the following accidents: missing or loss of data, loss of information due to data analysis, misunderstandings between on board and on shore. Moreover, it has been observed that the results obtained by analysing the data gathered from many merchant ships often do not present the characteristics of reliability and maintainability of each ship well and have not always been useful or available for each ship. This fact suggests that the data analysis should be performed on board, and then the results or the inf ormations obtained should be used immediately. First in order to gather the field data, the outline of a new software based on the text“Application of Failures and Alarms on Equipment for MO ships”edited by Ministry of Transport and Nippon Kaiji Kyokai is presented, and next the data analysis methods based on the Weibull probability paper and the Weibull type of the cumulative hazard paper are proposed newly. These methods are performed by utilizing the PC. Finally, the methods presented in this paper are shown to be very useful by illustrating the case studies.
