レーダ信号による対景図の生成法の一提案

In the display method of a radar, the PPI display is used in most cases. However, we thought that in low visibility conditions, if not only the PPI display but also views looked from ship's operators were displayed, that will become a help for operating ships. We studied about the method for generating a picture close to the actual scene from radar signals. We thought that a proportional relation existed between strengths of radar echo and angles of inclination of an object. By integrating strengths of radar echo, we got heights of each position. We placed the color bars which were colored by the distance of each point and were cut by its height. Then we generated pseudo-views. By this method, we were able to generate pictures that were practical use for operating ships.
