トリムの変化が船の旋回に及ぼす影響について(日本航海学会第26回講演会)

The paper describes an investigation on the quantitative effect on the turning of ship by changing the trim. The turning experiments have been carried out on 1/50th scale free model of a certain cargo ship in 3 conditions of loading. The experimental results are summarized in Figs, 2, 3 and 4. The tactical diameter are increased 8 to 10 percentages by changing the trim 1 percentage afterward and the turning speed and yaw heel are decreased as comparatively as the tactical diameter.
