Abstract
Recently, many fishing vessels have been lost on the northern waters along Kamchatka and Kuril Islands in winter. As a result of investigation, it is thought that most of the cause of these shipwreck is generally due to the reduction of stability with the icing of ship. Thus, from the viewpoint of preventing these disaster, we investigated the relation between temperature, sea temperature and wind force for icing, and the effect for stability after icing by patrol boat and fishing vessel.
