抄録

This paper presents a type of voltagefed quasi-resonant half-bridge inverter operating at constant frequency variable power (VPCF) regulation scheme which is more suitable for new high-frequency high-power induction-heated (IH) cooking appliances. This application-shecific high-frequency inverter using specially-designed IGBTs can operate under a principle of ZVS-PWM strategy. The operating principle of a new inverter circuit is presented with its power regulation characteristics on the basis of its computer-aided simulation analysis & experimental results. This soft-switched load resonant inverter using specially-designed IGBTs is evaluated from experimental point of view.
