Abstract

This paper sees personal risk aversive behavior as one of the methods to reduce vulnerability in times of disaster. To be concrete, the model of risk aversive behavior which is qualitatively examined by the case study of suffered persons with special needs at times of disaster (PSND), has been quantitatively verified by structural equation modeling using the result of a questionnaire. As a result, we notice that the causal relationship at the personal and community level which risen by formation of disaster scheme forms the motivation of behavior and affects the risk aversive behavior.
