Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to suggest how the Disaster Hospitals in Japan improve their prevention capabilities. We investigated how the hospitals had worked at the Noto Peninsula Earthquake (2007) etc., and what disaster prevention capabilities the Designated Disaster Hospitals in Hyogo Prefecture have. The following results were obtained:(1)It is important that the administrative organs show the concrete target values about the earthquake resistance of the buildings, water supply securing and the support outside the stricken area. (2) We showed how to judge the weakness of the water supply system in hospitals by our findings.
